Water Issues update

Good evening Belleisle Regional High School families and to the Belleisle Regional High School community supporters.

I wanted to reach out to you today to keep you in the loop regarding the water issues that we have been experiencing at the school.  Since late April, we have experienced intermittent low water pressure on the second floor, in addition to an occasional salty taste. This typically happens after a high usage of water during our morning or afternoon breaks. We are working to resolve these issues, and in the meantime hand washing stations are set up in the washrooms for both students and staff.  We have been in contact with Work Safe NB and Public Health to ensure we are meeting all the guidelines and requirements, and that there are enough available washrooms for staff and students. A booster pump has been installed and we believe this should resolve the issue going forward.

These issues are concerning for all of us. Students and staff have been inconvenienced by this situation and rest assure we are working with the District to improve and fix this situation as quickly as possible.

I want to thank you all for your generosity and the support that you have shown the staff over the past six years that I have been principal of Belleisle Regional High, and for your continued support. Feel free to call me if you have any additional questions or concerns.  The number is 485-3030
